We have on hand, Architects, Civil and Mechanical engineers who graduated from the UK and have on hand combined experience of over twenty years. We have Water and Environmental engineers who designed and built many water treatment plants including the PEPSI COLA plant in Pakistan and the Water treatment Plants for the Pharmaceutical Industry.

We also have several technicians who specialize in the fabrication and construction of small and large metal holding tanks for water. This enables us to design our own FOOD GRADE tanks for holding water, instead of placing orders for customized ones. Cost is thereby reduced and we can control the quality.

Enhance Production

At the moment, we carry out our production as follows:

(i)                  We acquire the plastic materials from Pakistan. The reason is that we can get it at one third the price of what we used to pay here in the USA. The time frame for delivery from the USA was six months. From Pakistan we can get everything between 10 to 30 days. The quality is even better. We have also kept contact with the leading scientist on plastics in China. He is doing research for us on building harder, stronger, more temperature resistant plastics. Eventually we would like to buy out his plastic factory in China and have him working full time for us.

(ii)                All of the Magnetic Material is acquired from within the USA. These are Rear Earth Trivalent Elements that are specialized and extremely volatile. That they require a minimum of EIGHT WEEKS OF INTENSE TREATMENT in specialized chambers in the only facility of its kind in the USA, BEFORE THEY CAN BE EXPOSED TO THE ATMOSPHERE. This facility is located in Valparaiso, Indiana. This material is then Compressed, Sintered, Double Nickel Plated and Charged according to the requirements and specifications. The whole process can take a minimum of three months. Therefore we try to buy in bulk and keep storage on hand.

(iii)               Other materials that are required are bought locally from an AMISH Blacksmith who forges the materials to the requirements at his forge.

(iv)              The finally assembly is done in what looks like an AMISH BARN, but which we have converted for our use. On the outside it is just an AMISH farm. This is the only way we can keep the process protected.

(v)                All of the quality control and packaging is done here.

(vi)              Shipments are done through a shipping agent who has the ability to normally put even international shipments on a plane within a day.

(vii)             If we are to improve production then, we shall have to buy and build our own assembly facility in the AMISH AREA.

(viii)           All of the housing and encapsulation systems are currently produced in Pakistan. The standards are kept very high, the costs are low and the production time is very small.

The manufacture of portable water treatment or the construction of the water treatment plants is normally done on site. However, when funding is made available, we would like to produce at least TEN Skid mounted Portable Water Treatment Plants in the Amish facility. These plants can them be inspected and tested by the financing partners before shipment to clients.

Ideally, it would be prudent and very cost effective to shift the constructions overseas, because of lower labor and material costs.

The ECOBEAM XL MHD SYSTEMS were installed on this open air JKOI Fish Pond. The Pond had so much Algae and contaminations, that the Fish were not visible. Chemicals could not be used as the Koi Fish would die. We installed the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS ON THE RE-CIRCULATION SYSTEM behind the rocks.

NOTE:

The fish are clearly visible; also visible is the brown substance at the bottom which is the Dead Algae.  On the rocks, there are still some remains of the algae.

The ECOBEAM XL MHD SYSTEMS were installed on the Giant Tank of this

aquarium in Japan.  The SEA WATER used was always high in suspended solids.

Note now the water is absolutely clear.

Market Analysis

WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE, BUT NOT A DROP TO DRINK

Imagine this, Two thirds of the surface of the earth is covered by water. Yet, less than Three percent of all available moisture on planet earth is drinkable. If this is NOT cause of alarm, what is?

 

At the moment, EVERY SINGLE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN THE WORLD, DEPENDS VERY HEAVILY ON THE USE OF CHEMICALS IN ITS TREATMENT.

 

Consider this. In the first place, we have a problem with the water because in our hurry to industrialize, for over two hundred years, and even TODAY, companies continue to dump millions of gallons of toxic chemicals into the same water. On paper, every industry is supposed to treat the water before dumping it. But if they do, then why is the entire fishery off the coasts of the Continental USA showing the presence of heavy metals in their bodies?  American love to eat fish. Consider the consequences.

 

The Water Treatment Plants are now forced to use even more and more chemical protocols to try to make the same water drinkable. By adding more and more sugar, we can never make the water less sweet. Sadly almost everyone everywhere, except in Japan and Singapore, buy bottled water for their personal drinking even at home.

 

A question must be asked:  "If the water treatment plants all over the world are producing pristine water, then WHY do the people who pay water bills still have to buy bottled water?"

 

The answer is simple:

 

Even if the water treatment plants all over the world are actually producing perfect water, this water gets contaminated when it migrates through miles and miles of conduits and pipe lines which have become heavily polluted over the years.  They are now the breeding grounds for BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF BACTERIAL COLONIES. This bacterium reaches homes and businesses every second of every day.

 

The sad situation is that even the RICHEST COUNTRIES cannot afford to clean or replace these thousands of miles of conduits that get polluted over time. The solutions can be implemented in two parts.

 

ONE: 

 

Use influence at the right levels to augment the existing water treatment protocols with the application of the ECOBEAM XL TECHNOLOGY. This will do the following:

 

(i)                 Condition the INCOMING WATER SO THAT THE TREATMENTS becomes more effective.

(ii)                This will eventually reduce the amount of chemicals required for flocculation, over time this will translate into money saved.

(iii)               When pretreatment is enhanced, the use of disinfection products will also reduce.  This will translate into money saved

(iv)              With a higher quality of water at every stage of treatment, the REJECT water will decrease. More water will be available for the consumer and thus translate into money for the water authority.

(v)                This would recondition the already treated water and energize it with the magnetic forces from the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS.

 

TWO: 

Clean water passing through dirty or contaminated pipelines is hungry; clean water will readily pick up the contamination from the pipes and carry it to the end users. The real problem is that the pipes that transport the water from the treatment plants to the end users were laid underground many decades ago. While maintenance can be carried out on the treatment plants themselves, the underground pipes are left alone. Eventually the pipes leak and sewer and other contamination enters them. This problem is usually ignored.

 

The cost of cleaning these pipe lines is enormous. Even if they were to be cleaned, they would get contaminated in a hurry.  The cost of replacing the pipes is a more viable solution. But they too will calcify; get rusty and dirty depending upon the material of the pipe.

 

SOLUTION:

 

When new pipes are laid, we should permanently install the ECOBEAM XL SERIES at calculated intervals. The installations would be water tight, and permanent with absolutely NO INVASION into the pipes. The new pipes would then be laid, buried into the ground as is the practice.  It is guaranteed that, unless physically destroyed, the pipes will never rust or gather calcium as long as the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS are operational.

 

From the Market Analysis point of view, the ONLY TWO THINGS the financer needs to consider are:

 

One: How many water treatment plants are there in this world?

 

Two: How many millions of underground pipelines are there in this world?

 

AS YET WE HAVE NOT GONE INTO THE PROBLEMS FACED BY THE OIL INDUSTRY, THEIR EQUIPMENTS AND THE THOUSANDS OF MILES OF PIPELINES THAT CARRY OIL, AND ARE AFFECTED BY CALCIUM AND CORROSION.

Market Definition, Strategy and Plan

Every living organism, every human, every animal and all plant life, south of the North Pole require water to survive.

Customer Profile

At this moment, with only Three percent of the water drinkable, the whole of humanity is a customer. However we should break down the profile in the following manner:

1.  First World Countries.
2.  The Rest of Humanity.

FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES

Generally speaking it is very difficult to approach anyone in the First world countries and point out a problem with their water. It is not that they are not aware of it, but that EGO gets the better of them. Therefore it would be time and effort wasted to even contemplate this market unless high-ranking political authorities get seriously involved.

However, when we build a few mobile WATER Treatment Plants and utilize the correct connections with the Department of Defense, they would most likely test our plants in the field. We would have to lock in water tight protocols, so that once proven, the plants would be accepted. In that case, the Department of Defense alone would buy several thousand of our mobile water treatment plants.

SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM

In the USA, the investor partner can look into personal relationships. It is said that some of the biggest business transactions are consummated on the golf course. Personal relationships work. The bottom line is that we will stand by what we say.  We insist that any job that we do, must come with a monitoring contract for at least two to three years. This way, the customer knows that we are available to them all of the time. It also ensures that our systems work perfectly and the purchasers are properly trained.

The range of applications in unlimited; from cooling towers, to chillers/condensers, to boilers, to heat exchangers and so on to millions of applications that use chemicals for Water treatment, but still experience problems.

The places to begin the use of this technology are mainly in Asia, Africa and South America.

Three and a half billion people live in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Over one billion people live in Africa and South America.

Except for Japan and Singapore, all of the others have drastic water situations. Besides the money from the local governments, the UNITED NATIONS, THE WORLD BANK AND THE ASIA DEVELOPMENT BANKS, have all allocated money for water projects. This money is available to the respective governments if only the respective government will put up just FIVE PERCENT of the money for the projects.

With our technology, we can reach the most desperate masses of the world and convert almost any kind of contaminated water to drinking standards.

A little investment now will reap harvests thousands of times over.

Competition

In the field of MAGNETO HYDRO-DYNAMICS (MHD) we are not concerned about competition.

While it is true that there are several companies here in the USA and several more around the world, our strength is that the ECOBEAM XL is the only MHD System that actually converts all of the magnetic energy into a single beam. This beam is the only energy force that fully satisfies Michael Faraday’s law:

During the past six years, several companies that promote MHD products came into competition with the ECOBEAM XL in Japan. Most of the MHD Systems thus promoted fell short of the promises made by sales forces.

As a result, recently the government and the city authority in Tokyo issued strong guide lines about the efficacy of the MHD Systems being sold in Japan. According to the government set standards, the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS have proven themselves in ever single aspect. A look at the client list in Japan alone vindicates the Technology of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS.

THEREFORE, WE ARE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT ANY COMPETITION. HOWEVER, WE ARE AWARE THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE around the world are trying hard to copy this invention.

Risk

There is absolutely NO RISK with the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS. Here are some of the reasons.

1.                  The Unit is made to produce a UNI-DIRECTIONAL Magnetic Beam. Therefore there can be no leakage of magnetic energy to affect anything in its vicinity.

2.                  Assembled, the beam is neutralized until installed.

3.                  After installation the beam enters the water stream but it does not exit at the other end.

4.                  The System does NOT require any power source whatsoever.

5.                  The System does not require any maintenance whatsoever.

6.                  The System has an as yet undetermined life. But systems installed sixteen years ago are still functioning at peak performance.

7.                  Once installed, we give written instructions that the System must NOT be touched even by the owner.

We have the capacity to assemble about one thousand ECOBEAM XL UNITS per week. However, when the requirement arises, we can increase this number to ten thousand or more per week.

Consider the facts: every single cooling tower, chiller/condenser unit., every heat exchanger, boiler, every evaporative condenser, every industry that uses water, every school, every hospital, every swimming pool, every building in the world uses chemicals for the water treatment.  Every oil platform from drilling to the finished refined oil, to the thousands of miles of oil pipelines require chemical treatment just to keep  functioning, and still these problems have not been solved.  All of this can be replaced with the non-chemical, energy-free treatment provided by the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS.  It will first solve the problem and then prevent it from re-occurring.

Whatl we needed was the proper marketing arm. (This has been satisfied as of June 5, 2005)

The applications can run into the MILLIONS, the individual ECOBEAM XL UNITS CAN RUN INTO THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS.

The Skid Mounted Water Treatment Plants could be completed in about three months. However, if we can buy materials in bulk, then we can have about ten such units ready in less than six months.

We contemplate that after a level of confidence is arrived at with the investor, we would like to assemble most of the Water Treatment Plants in Asia, where we have already made friends with Mayors of cities that are willing to give tax incentives. This will reduce our costs and increase the production out-put.

We would also like to manufacture all of our small to medium domestic water units and filters overseas, where they can be manufactured at a much lower price. The standards will not be compromised.

The ECOBEAM-XL SERIES of MHD Systems are hermetically sealed, powerful, permanent magnetic units, positioned in a proprietary arrangement to produce a CONCENTRATED BEAM of High Gauss Magnetic Flux.

Normally, in a Magnetic Arrangement, the Magnetic lines of Flux travel in an elliptical path from North to South on the Outside of the Magnet. Consequently, the Maximum Strength is at the North and South Poles of the Magnet. The Magnetic Lines of Flux have very little effective strength. However, in the ECOBEAM XL Series of MHD Systems, the lines of Magnetic Flux have been forced to converge into a Magnetic Beam. The Systems and their operation have been developed after carrying out intensive study, research and development, by the inventor.

The “Magneto-Hydro-Dynamics Water Treatment and Conditioning System” had been used in the USSR and Europe using “INLINE” Electro Magnets, for more than 50 years in a very limited capacity. Their efficacy was hardly recognized owing to the absence of certified literature and the non-belief in an Unproven Technology. But in 1984, the United States, because of strong ecological demands, pulled far ahead in this field by undertaking studies and experimentation, utilizing Ceramics and other Rare Earth Materials, to increase the power of Permanent Magnets to levels never before reached.

In 1945, Theo Vermeiren, patented a Magnetic Water Conditioner in Belgium, utilizing discoveries based on Faraday’s Laws of Motion.  In 1957, Vermeiren delivered a report to the Belgian Center of Corrosion Studies and the Belgian Royal Society of Engineers in Brussels, detailing his 12 years of research and remarkably successful experiences with Magnetic Water Conditioners:

They removed scale and corrosion from water heaters, boilers, cooling towers, and water pipes used for fresh or seawater; they killed algae, and all forms of anaerobic bacteria in the water; and while not a “water softener,” per say; they seemed to “soften” the water, physically, not chemically, possibly due to “the resultant colloidal state of the micro crystals of calcium, magnesium and stearates.”

Magnetism is now widely used in a very vide variety of Medical applications ranging from laser therapy to CAT SCAN to unclogging of arteries. Other techniques include the application of Magnetism to enhancing health care without resorting to invasive surgery.

High Speed trains now use magnetism to levitate their wheels from the tracks, providing a more comfortable, safer and faster ride.

Newer Television and Computer equipment employ magnetism to increase picture clarity. All hard discs in Computers are an example.

Magnetism is also used on boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers and all water related industry and equipments to de-scale and prevent future scaling – This de-scaling has never been satisfactory and costs over a $100 billion to industry in recurring expenses. The expenses increase exponentially every year, while maintenance increases, the equipment steadily degrades and other environmental hazards increase.

Today more than two million MHD systems have been sold world-wide for residential, commercial, industrial, governmental and municipal use, on boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, laundries, irrigation systems, golf courses, photo labs, aquariums, swimming pools, spas, fountains, Koi and other fish ponds, man-made lakes, health clubs, hotels, private homes, farms, nurseries, oil wells, injection wells, power stations, refineries, factories, bottling plants, etc.

The primary product of ECOTECH is technically called the ECOBEAM XL SERIES OF MHD PRODUCTS.

The ECOBEAM XL SERIES OF MHD PRODUCTS, works on the Principles of Physics, whereby Ultrasonic Frequencies created through Electrostatic Resonance Charges, Induced by Variable Magnetic Fields, produce Ion Changes in Water Chemistry.

By installing the ECOBEAM XL Systems on the outside of a pipe which carries a conductive flow, a force is created through the walls of the pipe, through the existing scale build up within the pipes, that acts on the moving charged particles in the fluid, to separate the negatively and positively charged particles, polarizing them.

For particle separation to occur, among other requirements, the velocities of fluids should not be less than .5 fps or greater than 20 fps.  The kinetic energy of the water is an essential element of this phenomenon.

The Magnetism used to manufacture the systems is of a patented design.  High Gauss magnets, of various magnetic levels, are used in the production of each ECOBEAM XL module.

The high levels of induction and variance of each ECOBEAM XL module, create high ultrasonic frequencies, which in turn produce ion exchange in water and fluids.

During the ion exchange process, scale-forming chemicals such as calcium carbonate, magnesium, iron hydroxide and iron oxide, lose their “Zeta Potential Bond” and are released as a colloidal suspension in the flow stream.

During the physical ion exchange process a hydrogen atom is released from the water molecule (H2O becomes HO) and this hydrogen atom plates out on the adjacent surfaces of the pipes and the equipments.

In addition, as the hydrogen atom is separated from the flowing water, there is an imbalance in the dissolved oxygen in the water.  This imbalance of the oxygen helps to kill the anaerobic algae, the anaerobic bacteria and to oxidize foul odors.

The ECOBEAM XL is produced through a combination of powerful permanent magnetic units, made from rare earth, metallic, trivalent elements.  An array of units, from two on up, depending on the outer diameter of the pipe and other protocols, is applied to the pipes carrying water or other fluids – utilizing technology based on THE SCIENCE OF MAGNETO HYDRO-DYNAMICS.  This magnetic water/ fluids conditioning, without the use of chemicals or any form of energy, is effective in preventing scale, rust and corrosion, while effectively removing the same from pipes and equipments. The Focused Magnetic Flux, follows Laws of Physics that  will realign the molecular flow of fluids in circulating and flowing water/fluids systems, combustion engines, oil well production and piping.

Circulating Water Systems.  (Cooling Towers, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, Chillers and Evaporative Condensers, as well as Main Water Lines), the ECOBEAM XL has the ability to remove scale, rust and corrosion buildup.  Once the sludge is removed, the ECOBEAM XL will inhibit the reformation of the same, keeping the pipes clean and free flowing.  Economic advantages are countless, as are compliance’s to the ever-changing strict rules and regulations being issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Combination Engine

The application of the ECOBEAM XL F1 (Fuel Enhancer Unit) on the fuel line of the internal combustion engine improves combustion. It causes the realignment of the molecular flow of fuel, resulting in a better ratio of fuel/air mixture.  The results are reduced fuel consumption, cleaner emissions, cleaner spark plugs and fuel injectors. Different engines using different fuels, determine the applications of the ECOBEAM XL F1 MHD Systems at different locations.

REFINERIES

Oil industry

This is a very interesting subject for the application of the ECOBEAM XL SERIES. However, it is impossible to address even a miniscule part of it in this paper. Consequently, the applications of the ECOBEAM XL SERIES are discussed in very rudimentary terms here. Detailed applications will be addressed at each individual site.  Oil is drilled from deep within the earth. Oil does not come to the surface as a finished product. It comes up as a mixture of crude, water, slush and all kinds of earth sand and stones. There are several problems along the way that the ECOBEAM XL SERIES can assist with.

First, at the point of drilling, deep under the ground, Water Cooled Hydraulic Brakes are used.  Water is pumped at high pressure down thousands of feet underground to the Hydraulic Braking System. This is a continuous process requiring thousands of gallons of re-circulating water. Since at the Hydraulic Braking Assembly, there is a great amount of Heat Exchange, the inevitable scale build up occurs, both in the pipelines and at the Hydraulic Braking Heat Exchange Apparatus. This causes the heat exchange to become inefficient and thus, ever so often, the whole system has to be shut down for physical cleaning and maintenance. This is not only loss in Revenue, but also maintenance intensive. The application of Strategically installed ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS, can greatly enhance the efficient operating of the Drilling equipment and depending on the condition of the fresh water, can either completely eradicate the problem, or at least bring it to controllable levels. The application of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS is finalized after evaluating each individual situation.

After the crude oil has been pumped up out of the ground, it is then piped to locations where it can be stored before being processed. The 'crude oil' is hot when it leaves the ground, but rapidly cools as it migrates through the pipelines to the storage tanks. The moisture in the 'crude' mixes with the accompanying sludge and plates out inside the pipes like hard scale. Inside the 'Crude Oil,' paraffin tends to cool much more rapidly and then begins to plate out inside the pipelines too. This combined scale formation and the plating out of the paraffin, rapidly constricts the inner diameter of the pipelines. This causes many problems and requires constant maintenance.

The application of the ECOBEAM XL SERIES of our MHD SYSTEMS, will enhance the efficient flow of the crude and completely eliminate, or greatly reduce, the buildup of scale and constrictions in the pipelines. When oil or 'crude oil' has to be transported over long distances, the biggest problem facing the oil companies is the unmitigated deposits of scale and paraffin on the inside of the pipelines. The strategic application of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS along the pipelines inhibits the buildup of the same. In most cases, the existing buildup is eventually removed, all without the use of extra maintenance, chemicals or energy. This leads to enhanced efficiency and tremendous financial benefits.

Oil Refinery

Heat Pumps and Water Cooled Compressors:

Water-Cooled Heat Pumps, Engines and Compressors are subject to rapid scaling, owing to the constant flow of fresh water and the intense heat exchange. In addition to regular Chemical Treatment, every 6-8 weeks a pitter must be used to remove the hard ceramic-like scale that has accumulated within the pipes as well as in the body jacket of the engines. This buildup of scale directly affects the flow of the cooling water, and as the build up increases, the 'Heat Transfer' from the engine to the Cooling System also reduces, thereby affecting the temperature of the Engines and the Heat pumps. This factor alone is a major concern for water-cooled Engines on Boats and Ships and Water Cooled Compressors.

Within a few weeks, following the installation of the ECOBEAM XL System on the water lines of the equipment, the scale turns into a powder-like wet sludge substance, which is easily removed at the 'Blow Down' or 'Bleed Off Point'. Eventually, the water jacket will be freed of accumulated residue and will remain clean, as long as the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS remain installed. There is no requirement for the use of Chemicals at this point. However, as with every application, an ECOTECH trained person must evaluate each situation on its own merits, before actual installation.

Heat Exchangers:

Scale accumulates inside the shell of the water tubes, reducing the flow of water so essential to the transfer of heat from one fluid to anther. 0ver time, the inner diameter of the tubes reduces and in most cases, completely blocks up. This seriously degrades the Heat Exchange Mechanism and affects the entire apparatus the heat exchanger is designed to serve.  The effected systems then have to be shut down for intensive maintenance. A core drill or high-pressure water jets, along with chemicals are needed to clean the tubes.

Following core drilling, and after the heat exchanger is on line, the ECOBEAM XL System should be installed on the fresh water input lines.  Owing to the action of the ECOBEAM XL, all tubes will remain open and new scale will be prevented from forming.  In cases where minor scaling has already begun, the ECOBEAM XL System will gradually clean out the scale that has already deposited and will prevent new scale from depositing.  However, it will not clean out tubes that are so badly clogged, that water cannot flow through them. The flow of the water across the BEAMED Magnetic Flux is essential.

Sour Water Lines:

The mixture of oil and water builds scale and paraffin in the pipes.  The ECOBEAM XL SYSTEM will place the paraffin into suspension, remove scale buildup, and prevent calcites and rust from adhering to the pipes.  Depending on the chemical composition of the migrating water, additional softeners may not be required.  The ECOBEAM XL SYSTEM reduces and may eventually even eliminate the need for chemicals.  (This depends on a number of external factors, which can be addressed on an individual basis,)

Water Scrubbers:

Water used to “wet scrub” solids in exhaust stacks, often leaves scale buildup inside the pipelines and on the blades of the fans used to pull the water through the scrubber.  The ECOBEAM XL treatment of water aids the scrubbing action. The treated water also inhibits scale buildup in the pipes, on fan blades and housings, assists in enhancing the whole system and improves overall performance.

Cracking Towers:

Fuel for the cracking tower is a combination of crude oil and natural gas.  Since water is part of the fluid flowing into the tower, scale will form. Crude oil input at various temperatures will form paraffin.  The ECOBEAM XL SYSTEM will alleviate existing scale and then prevent it from reforming.  Prior detailed inspection of each site is required, before a plan can be implemented to treat problem areas.

Cooling Towers: 

This is perhaps the single most ignored area in the seriousness of water treatment. Cooling Towers are used in ALL applications of water or fluid based Heat Exchange systems. Industries that value in the Trillions of Dollars, regard the Heating and Cooling Systems as just another function of their overall operations. What Senior Management has seldom thought about is the crucial role of the Cooling Towers.

It is generally felt that, with the delegation of authority to the Facilities Branch of the Establishment, the Systems will run perfectly. Since the Facilities are not the most “Cosmetic” of places, attention is seldom paid to their problems. It is therefore to the credit of the Director of Facilities and His/ Her staff, that even under the most trying conditions; they manage to keep the Systems up and running.

However, problems ignored are not problems solved. They will ultimately lead to major repairs or replacements, which are not only expensive, but cause the establishments to impose “Shut Downs.” This is a great loss in terms of revenue, because, while production stops, salaries and other expenditures still have to be met.   It is amazing to note that, while continuous treatment of the process water is done with Chemicals, problems still arise and systems have to be shut down. If the continuous Chemical Treatment of Water does not solve a problem, is it not logical to look at better alternatives?

The sad truth is that while in every avenue of life, Science has made astounding advances, in the case of water treatment; in the FACILITIES DEPARTMENT, the establishment has resigned itself to the “Status Quo.” This is causing the water to remain contaminated, with more and more chemicals added every day, making an already bad situation, worse.

Cooling Towers must be treated both at the Cooling Tower and at the Condenser side of the Chillers. The final determination is made after the physical inspection of each Cooling Tower and the affiliated data. But in all cases, it is imperative to treat both the re-circulating water as well as the fresh makeup water lines with the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEM.  Depending on the condition of the source water, these applications will reduce and may eventually stop all need for chemicals.  After 2-3 weeks, a sharp increase in TDS (totally dissolved solids) is to be expected, due to the cleaning action of the pipes and the condenser by the ECOBEAM XL System. However, in according with the manufacturers recommendations on maintenance, the Cooling Towers must be cleaned and drained so as to remove solids from the sumps. If this is not done as recommended, migrating debris will go back into the condenser where the water turbulence and heat exchange is at its highest and cause serious problems there. In most cases allow 90 to 120 days for total cleaning with the application of the ECOBEAM XL MHD systems installed. 

Cooling Towers

Boilers:

Boilers undergo extreme changes in water temperatures. Cold incoming water is brought to a boil or even converted to steam very rapidly. This cycle is maintained twenty-four hours a day for months on end. This continuous action causes both suspended and dissolved solids in the water to plate out inside boiler tubes and pipes. The addition of Chemicals aggravates the problem, because Chemicals react differently with different substances in the water as well as with the metallurgical content of the pipes, setting off chain reactions before vaporizing. Then the vapors migrate with the water and steam. Consequently, while at one stage of the cycle, the water may be rendered acceptable for boiler use, down the pipelines, the vaporized Chemicals migrating with the turbulent boiling water and the steam, begin to react with other metals and substances inside the flow paths, which are also experiencing fluctuating temperatures.

Thus begins another Chemical chain reaction, often leading to corrosion inside the heat exchangers and pipelines, especially the elbows, joints, distribution points, Condensate return paths, Condensate and holding tanks. The addition of Fresh make up water only brings in more additives with it to further aggravate the problem.  Consequently, while a chemical may solve an immediate problem at the source, it causes multifarious problems down the line and in pipes far from the boilers. The big question every Boiler owner or operator should ask is:

"If the Chemicals did their job, then why do we have calcium and other build-ups in our boilers?" And, "why is there corrosion inside our pipelines where only steam is passing?" Obviously, CHEMICALS have serious shortcomings!

We always recommend, that in the case of Boilers, we must take a very serious look at the composition of the incoming water and take steps to reduce as many Suspended and Dissolved Solids from the water before it goes into the Boilers. Our ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS will play a crucial role in this effort. After this has been done, it is recommended to treat all of the circulating water systems, condensate return and fresh-water makeup lines, with the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEM.  Depending on the composition of the source water, the use of all chemicals will be eliminated, or at least dramatically reduced. 

Oil Lines:

The ECOBEAM XL SERIES of MHD units should be used to control paraffin, salt, and scale in oil lines.  But this undertaking should only be attempted after consultation with a representative of ECOTECH and after the necessary Test Protocols have been carefully conducted and examined. The Magneto-Hydrodynamic Technology Treatment, if applied correctly, will greatly enhance the flow of the oil and will hold most dissolved and suspended solids in suspension.

OIL FIELD APPLICATIONS

Steam Compressors:

The application of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS on water lines to the compressor, and, to and from the Cooling Towers will not only prevent scale buildup in the compressors and piping, but   will also gradually remove all existing scale already deposited in them.  This having been done, there will be no more need for a water softener or chemicals to control scale and corrosion.

Water Injection:

An EOR, (Enhanced Oil Recovery) a typical system includes: a pump (to force water into the oil well), a tank (Q-cell) (to add coagulant for oil separation), and a diatomaceous earth filter.  The installation of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS should be at carefully selected locations to treat oil and water going to the tanks, to treat the Q-cell-ahead of D.E. filters, and the water before re-entry into the ground.  This application will help control H2S, salt and scale deposits, and decrease turbidity after the filters.

Oil Pipe Lines:

The installation of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS at carefully selected locations will assist in preventing paraffin, salt, and scale buildup in the lines. Depending on the composition of the oil, the need for chemicals will be dramatically reduced or may even be eliminated. Paraffin is non polar, a totally saturated hydrocarbon. As the molecular weight of the fuel oil increases, the melting point of paraffin increases. Water and hydrocarbons will not mix. It should be understood that there is 60 to 94 % water, along with oil, in most oil producing wells.

Salt Water

The Installation of the ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS will prevent scale and corrosion buildup in the salt water lines, engines cooling jackets and heat exchangers etc.

ECOBEAM XL SYSTEMS are designed to substantially reduce or eliminate paraffin, scale, asphalting, and many other forms of contaminations from plating out in the pipes and equipment.

PARAFFIN AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF THE ECOBEAM XL MHD SYSTEMS

THE APPLICATION

Considerer Paraffin and Scale: THE ECOBEAM XL MHD SYSTEMS, (including an electromotive force caused by the tools used) act as a catalyst for the precipitation of ions within the oil flow, causing irregular crystal structure formation, close to a submicroscopic level. The minute crystal particles all remain in suspension; they will not form into a larger solid mass.  All remaining fluid is more solvent than that of normal fluid composition from the well.

Asphaltenes, which are not actually crystals, normally form as a conglomeration of charge fed particles, there are attracted, unlike charged molecules.  EMF technology affects the surface charges on these groups of molecules, polarizing them, so that they are like-charged and resistant, rather than attracted to each other.

The concept that an EMF will interact with crystallization nuclei, explains most of the phenomenon observed in crude oil with water.  Many samples of crude oil, before and after an EMF treatment, show significant changes in viscosity, cloud and pour points and temperature deposition of paraffin.

ECOTECH utilizes the highest quality of materials, which have a very high “intrinsic coercive force”, or resistance to demagnetization forces.  Most external influences have virtually no degaussing effect on the EMF system.  Consistency of the paraffin in a well, changes from a solid to very light paraffin, which sloughs off with a forced fluid.  Prior to the EMF exposure, the precipitate of calcium carbonate contained calcite and aragonite in about a 4:1 ratio.  Following installation of an EMF system, the ratio is about 1:4. It is one of the fundamental laws of physics, that the motion of a conductor through a magnetic field (EMF) will cause a voltage to be produced.

GROUND WATER RECOVERY

APPLICATION

ECOTECH ventured to apply its Cutting Edge technology, when the discovery of oil leakage into ground began to cause very serious problems. Oil and Chemical leakage from Oil storage and oil and chemical wash facilities seriously contaminate the ground water. It is then required by law, that the owner/operator of the facility recover the Ground water. This involves the pumping up of the water, remediation and injection back into the ground. This process caused serious calcification and deposits of other contaminants in the piping systems, holding tanks and at the stripping towers.
